The FBI’s Search for Sam
In episode 2, we can see the FBI is still searching for Sam, but he keeps hiding at Robbie’s house. Robbie told him that his parents are not at home, so Sam can stay at his house.
In the other, we see that Cliff gets panicked when MZ doesn’t respond to him, and they discover that the bag they robbed in search of money has fentanyl in it.
Meet Jayson & the Dark Hearts’ Politics
The key member of Dark Hearts, Jayson Wilkes, discovers that Derek, Joanne, and Warren have been killed. He calls for a meeting and informs others that the thieves have their fantanyl.
A national leader, Perry Dorazo, in a meeting with Jayson, asked for control, but to catch the thieves, Jayson suggested meeting the gang’s distributor, Freddy Frias, and seeking his help to catch the thieves. Jayson was also aware of the FBI task force, but he didn’t see them as a major threat.
Tom’s Past & FBI Dynamics
Anthony and Tom took Kaylee’s interview, but she was so upset to answer the questions and help them. On their way back, Anthony questioned Tom about how he joined the FBI after being a priest.
Then Tom explained to him that when he met his wife, he left the priesthood and was later recruited into the FBI by Kathleen.
At the first meeting, the task force reveals that Sam has a troubled family history and hints towards the Dark Hearts. Tom, later on, meets the gang expert who possibly gave him a hint about a gang member named Billy, who turns out to be Maeve’s father.
Emily & the Burden of a Statement
Emily gets into a debate about whether she should write a family statement for her guilty brother, Ethan, for the crime of third-degree murder.
She was worried that her words might lead to the release of Ethan. But the tension erupts on the arrival of Sara when a shocking truth is revealed that Ethan killed Sara’s mother.
Maeve’s Secret Risk
Maeve unfolds the truth that Sam is the missing son of Derek and Nance. So she tries to save him and calls 911 for help. But when the police came, she herself hid him in the car and avoided his discovery.
Maeve brings Sam back home and points out Robbie for bringing everyone into danger.
Dark Hearts Close In
During the club meeting, Perry told Jayson not to reveal the truth about drugs being stolen by the thieves, and not cash.
Then the Dark Hearts reveal the true identity of Peaches and go on a search that leads them to the house of Kaylee, putting her into danger.
