Is it Adele? Or is it the music icon Taylor Swift?
Well, the wait is over, this year’s Super Bowl halftime performer has finally been revealed, and it’s none other than Bad Bunny.
The announcement came during Sunday Night Football at AT&T Stadium, right in the middle of the Cowboys vs. Packers matchup. The Puerto Rican superstar will take the stage at Super Bowl LX, which kicks off in the San Francisco Bay Area this February.
Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Performer Announced
This won’t be Bad Bunny’s first time on football’s biggest stage. Back in 2020, he joined Shakira and Jennifer Lopez as a surprise guest during their electrifying halftime show. But this year, the spotlight is all his.
The Super Bowl halftime show has hosted some of the biggest names in music over the years Rihanna, Usher, Shakira, J.Lo, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, The Weeknd, and Kendrick Lamar, just to name a few. Now, Bad Bunny is officially joining that legendary lineup.
Last year’s show, headlined by Kendrick Lamar, broke records as the most-watched halftime performance ever with more than 133 million viewers.
A Global Superstar
Bad Bunny is not only among the biggest Latin music stars, but among the biggest in the world. His impact reaches well past music with 3 Grammy Awards and more than seven million records sold all over the world. He has also been a sensation in wrestling, film, and fashion, which makes him one of the most well-rounded entertainers of this generation.

Final Thoughts
For months, rumors swirled that Taylor Swift might headline this year’s halftime show, especially after the pop star teased the possibility. But reports say Swift ultimately turned it down after the NFL wouldn’t agree to her terms.
That left the stage open for Bad Bunny, who now has the chance to deliver one of the most unforgettable halftime shows in Super Bowl history.
